Hjorthagens Vokalensemble

Hjorthagens Vokalensemble (former Engelbrekt’s Vocal Ensemble) is a mixed choir with 30 members based in Stockholm, Sweden. We regularly give concerts at least twice a year in the  Stockholm church Hjorthagskyrkan.

We also tour abroad and have given concerts in York, U.K., Tenerife, Spain and in Cologne, Germany.

Our conductor is Eva Wedin who studied choir-conducting with the legendary Swedish conductor Eric Ericson and for many years a member of the Swedish Radio Choir, alongside her job as a music minister in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Stockholm.

We have a mixed repertoir ranging from 11th century music to contemporary composers.
